adidas and END.’s last Evo 4D took cues from deserts here on Earth, but for this one, the collaborators look to the outer reaches of the cosmos for inspiration. The ‘Dark Matter’ is named after the invisible mass that’s thought to make up 85% of material in the universe, and its upper is mysterious to match. Custom, jet-black Primeknit is accented with rippling overlays, reflective panelling and contrast embroidery. Tech is as fundamental to cutting-edge sneakers as it is space exploration, so the pair is completed with adidas’ signature digitally printed 4D midsole.
